Here's a breakdown of the booking process.
Step 1: Review the artists' portfolios and see who's style you like best and will fit the style of your new tattoo. If you are unsure of which artist is best for your tattoo you are welcome to stop into the studio anytime to chat with the ladies at the front desk about your new idea and they will help guide you towards an artist. Alternatively, you can also send us an email at blacklotustat2@gmail.com saying you are looking for guidance to help choose an artist and we can do that process with you through email.
Step 2: Sign up for the newsletter to be notified when an artists' books will open and follow the studio's instagram and the individual artists on their personal instagram accounts. (Links can be found on their individual portfolio pages on this website.)
Step 3: Once an artist opens their books they will be receiving all tattoo requests via online submission. We suggest filling it out first thing at 10am when they open because they will only be open for a maximum of 30 minutes. Set your reminder for the date their books will open; you don't want to miss it.
Step 4: Once the books are open, head to the artist's portfolio page on the website and there will be a link to their "tattoo request submission form". Fill out the form completely. (This works best on an actual computer.) Once your form has been successfully submitted you will be taken to a page that states your form has been submitted. We get hundreds of submissions so it does take up to 2 weeks to hear back from us after submitting your idea.
Step 5: Wait to hear back from us with any recommendations from your artist and a quote for your tattoo. After we chat you will have the option to place a non-refundable deposit and secure an appointment date. If you are not ready to schedule at that time, it's okay, your quote will be kept in your client profile for future scheduling.
Additional things to note:
The date that their books open are NOT the date that you will get an appointment. Their actual available appointments are anywhere from 2-6 months out from the date that their books open.
The artists are only accepting tattoos that are in their respective styles. If your project does not fit the style that they specialize in they may refer you to an artist that is better suited for your project.
