Mike Landry is an emerging artist in American Traditional style tattoos.

His introduction to tattooing began in his childhood, influenced by his father's admiration for traditional tattoos and the Harley Davidson culture. This early exposure ignited Mike's passion, which grew deeper as he immersed himself in the history of tattooing and began honing his craft with pen to paper. 

Life took him on a different path when he joined the Navy. Mike proudly served for nine years in the U.S. Navy! (Thank you for your service, Mike!!)

Throughout his military career, his love for American Traditional art never faded. When docking at each port, he would seek out local tattoo studios and build a collection of tattoos that would bookmark his life experiences. 

At the end of his military career, Mike found himself with a portfolio of drawings and sketches and a new goal: to become a tattoo artist!

Mike sought out Black Lotus Tattoos, Piercing, and Art Gallery in hopes of getting guidance on how to enter the industry; recognizing the passion and talent reflected in his portfolio, artist "Halo Grey" offered him an apprenticeship.

Under Halo's mentorship, Mike was able to refine his artistic skills and learn the techniques of tattooing that would make his once hopeful drawings find their home as tattoos!

Now, with two years of experience under his belt, Mike continues to evolve as an artist. While his primary focus continues to be American Traditional style tattoos, he has recently begun exploring the Japanese art genre, eager to take on new projects that challenge and inspire him.
