Missy Grey
Specializing in Ear Curations, designing beautifully orchestrated projects is something Missy is truly passionate about. She loves to give every client something special and unique to their anatomy! She often says, "Ears are like fingerprints, and no two are the same-not even your own"!
Missy Grey has been piercing professionally for 10 years as of September 2024. She has been a part of the tattoo and piercing industry since 2006 and has traveled the country and world because of this amazing community. She has met and worked alongside many piercers throughout those 10 years, learning, growing, and bettering herself to become the piercer she is today!
Prior to being a body piercer she worked in the veterinary medical field and as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for almost 15 years! In 2017, she founded "Five One Six Body Piercing" before coming to Black Lotus. In May of 2018, Missy Joined Black Lotus full-time as the Head Body Piercer! She strives to ensure everyone walking through the doors feels comfortable, welcome, and excited to get a new piercing or tattoo! She manages and handles all aspects of the piercing side at Black Lotus; including but not limited to all procedure protocols, inventory, and sterilization and safety measures.
In 2019, Missy became a member of Association of Professional Piercers.
In 2023, Missy earned her Applied Jewelry Professionals Certificate from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), which is widely considered the most prestigious professional gemology school in the world!
Missy actively participates in continuing education multiple times a year through the Association of Professional Piercers as well as other classes offered throughout the piercing industry.
